ADA Compliant Beverage Kiosk Design
State-of-the-Art Draft Beverage Systems That Meet ADA Standards
Ready to offer ultimate convenience to your patrons? At GS Draft, all of our self-serve beverage kiosks are designed with your personal interests and ADA compliance in mind. We also follow the Draft System Guidelines determined by the Technical Committee at The Brewers Association for safety, efficiency, and simple user maintenance.
About Our Self-Serve Beverage Kiosks
As more and more customers are looking for self-serve options at bars and restaurants, GS Draft's beverage kiosks emerge as the ideal solution. Available in 2, 4, 6, or 8-tap setups, each system we design yields a consistent, superb pour — from the first glass to the last. Here's how it works:
Regulated Pour-Speed: Designed to carefully regulate pour speed, both novice beer enthusiasts and seasoned veterans have easy access to perfectly poured drinks.
Easy-To-Use Self-Serve Technology: Equipped with premium self-serve RFID Readers and easy-to-use electronic controls, our kiosks can easily accommodate any guest. Plus, the system collects and reports data as customers pour, providing valuable marketing insights.
High-End Drip Tray: Our self-serve kiosks maintain their clean, inviting aesthetic with a stainless steel drip tray and an internal waste system.
Glycol-Cooled Towers: Temperature control is a crucial aspect of serving safe, high-quality drinks. Our self-pour kiosks feature glycol-cooled column towers for carefully chilled pours every time.
Pressure Controls: We believe in providing the best options for controlling pressures. Each kiosk comes equipped with one gas regulator per keg, allowing for precise pressure regulation. With our pressure controls, you can be assured of consistent excellent pours.
Micro-Matic Refrigeration: No need to worry about getting your own beverage cooler. Our self-pour kiosks are outfitted with commercial-grade stainless steel refrigeration units featuring rear and front-breathing designs. These units not only maintain optimum cooling temperatures but also enhance the kiosk's durability and longevity.
The Importance of ADA Compliance
ADA compliance ensures that freestanding use of our kiosks is legal, accessible, and safe for all patrons. For example, with features like a lower ADA-compliant counter and touch-screen height, our systems prioritize ease of use for disabled customers. An accessibility-first design also provides added security for all patrons, regardless of disability. Design a thoughtful self-serve space that not only meets legal requirements but also creates a welcoming and user-friendly environment for every customer.

GS Draft's Comprehensive Design Process For Beverage Kiosks
While our team at GS Draft System Solutions is committed to every step of the process, including installation, maintenance, or support, every project starts with the initial design.
How do we do it?
Size & Number of Taps
The first step in the custom design process is to understand the available space and your volume of customers, so your new kiosk is the optimal size. Our self-serve kiosks come in three versatile widths — 58", 68", and 78". We also offer customizable tap options, ranging from 2, 4, 6, or 8 total.
Beverage Specifications
We design more than just beer lines. Our self-serve kiosks are highly versatile, allowing for built-in installation of wine, coffee, cocktails, and other beverages. Tell us what drinks you serve or if you plan on expanding your menu, and we'll work with you every step of the way to ensure your kiosks deliver perfectly poured drinks of any type.

Frequently Asked Questions
Self-serve beverage kiosks are liquid dispensing systems designed to store and dispense beverages like beer, wine, and more from kegs. This ensures that drinks are served fresh and cold at the correct pressure and temperature. Regulated pour speeds and easy-to-use digital menus make self-serve easy for customers.
Self-serve beverage kiosks function through the use of air-cooled systems, including CO2 or nitrogen gas. These gases keep the kegs pressurized at the pressures intended by the brewery and push the beer through the lines to the tap where it can be self-poured poured into a glass.
Beverage-grade CO2 systems are used for carbonated beverages such as beers, ciders, seltzers, sparkling wines, and carbonated kegged cocktails. Beverage-grade Nitrogen is used for still beverages such as red and white wines, cold brew coffee, and nitro coffees at a higher gas pressure. Nitro Stouts use a blend of 25% CO2 and 75% Nitrogen.
Yes, depending on the type of drink, you can serve carbonated and non-carbonated beverages by adjusting the gas used and pressure levels in the system.
A typical beverage kiosk includes Keg Couplers, Beer and Gas Tubing, Primary and Secondary Gas Regulators, Beer FOBs, Glycol Cooled and insulated Trunk Lines, a Glycol Power Pack, Tap Towers with Taps and Drip Trays, and a lot of stainless steel fittings and clamps.
Maintenance for your system includes, but is not limited to, Glycol Maintenance on your Glycol Power Pack every six months, Regular Beverage Line Cleaning and Sanitizing, changing out vinyl beer lines every 12-24 months, disassembling and cleaning your taps and keg couplers regularly, inspecting all insulated glycol trunk lines for damage, breaking down and cleaning Beer FOBs every six months. Learn more here.
Your system should be cleaned regularly. Draft beer lines should be cleaned every two weeks with a caustic solution, and twice per year with an acid line cleaning solution. Keep your equipment clean to keep bacteria and mold from growing in your cooler. Learn more here.
Several benefits come with the use of beverage kiosks, especially for businesses that want to enhance customer experience. A draft beer system ensures that:
- The optimal temperature is maintained for a perfect pour every time
- There are a wide variety of beer options on tap, catering to diverse tastes
- Personalized and speedy self-service during peak hours
- Packaging waste is minimized by reducing the need for bottles and cans
Choosing the right system depends on several factors, including the size of your venue, the number of tap lines you need, available space, and your specific beverage storage requirements.Contact us for more details.
Beer that has been properly maintained in a draft system can stay fresh for 30-60 days, depending on the type of beer and how it is stored.
Self-serve beverage kiosks are designed to work with ⅙ Barrel Kegs, ¼ Barrel Kegs, Full Sized ½ Barrel Kegs, and Euro Kegs.
Almost all self-serve beverage issues are related to temperature, mainly keg storage temperatures and dispense temperatures. Other issues can be related to line cleanliness or gas issues. If you are having issues with your system, please contact us for assistance.
Consider upgrading your system if you experience frequent breakdowns, inconsistent beverage quality, or if your system can no longer meet the volume demands of your business.
The cost of installing a self-serve kiosk varies based on its complexity, the number of tap lines, whether it is a direct draw system with taps on the cooler wall, or a remote long draw system utilizing glycol-cooled trunk lines with taps some distance away from your cooler.
